David Quast - College Ethics Symposium Facilitator

David is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and Duke Law School.  He has practiced law for 40 years primarily as a corporate/business lawyer.  Most recently he has been working for Sealed Air Corporation, the inventor of Bubble Wrap and a major global manufacturer of food packaging products.  David’s legal work has largely been transactional with many of these activities involving international aspects.

A frequent visitor to Hilton Head where he has a home, David moved from Wisconsin to Greenville, SC approximately 5 years ago. 

David is a lifelong Roman Catholic and is active in his parish but also attends weekly services with wife who is a member at the First Presbyterian Church in Greenville.  Over the years, David has been involved in a number of volunteer activities including teaching legal principles to the hearing impaired and their interpreters, serving as a guardian, founding and serving in a meal program, Special Olympics and working at homeless shelters.  David and his wife, Nancy, have two daughters and one granddaughter.
