College Ethics Symposium - Facilitator

Jaime Palatucci

Jaime has been a resident of Hilton Head Island since 2005. He was born and raised in New York’s bucolic Hudson River Valley. He has been involved with the College Ethics Symposium for over 10 years, mostly in the role of small group facilitator. In the past, he also served on the symposium’s organizing committee.

Jaime is tenacious in his pursuits, becoming an Eagle Scout, captain of both his high school and college rowing teams. He participated with the U.S. Lightweight rowing team following college. He graduated with honors from Marist College with a dual major in economics and business. He also earned an MBA from Marist College. 

He had a 22-year career with IBM Corporation. Starting in the mail room, he held numerous management positions in finance and held international management and executive positions in Tokyo, Japan, Paris, France, and Latin America. He was the Director of Operations and Finance for IBM’s Europe’s Software Business unit; a $2.5B gross sales operation. 

Following his stint with IBM and relocation to Hilton Head Island, he and his wife, Julia work in the Real Estate field. Julia primarily does new construction real estate sales and Jaime does property management for both long term and vacation rentals. They also do real estate remodeling and investing. He enjoys spending time with his 7 grandchildren and has landscaping and remodeling hobbies.
